Welcome to my website. My name is Jason Caton. I am a husband, father, (soon to be) lawyer, and a guy who loves photography. I started Jay Caton Photography in 2009 with the idea of using photography to move from behind the alter to behind a camera ...

As part of my ‘day job’ at the local courthouse I officiate weddings. No, I am not a minister but to date have officiated almost 2,000 weddings. Seeing the love and joy being shared between couples is easily one of the best parts of my day. My experience as an officiant gives me a unique understanding of couples wants and desires on their big day.

Based in Annapolis, Maryland, I have been honored work with many wonderful couples all over the East Coast and have captured some amazing memories. I have photographed weddings from Maryland to Massachusetts in locations like Fenway Park and the Hindu Temple of Delaware.

Jay Caton Photography began as a way to capture wedding memories but has become much more. Maternity sessions, senior portraits, couples, families, and life's many events are all now part of my passion.

I still officiate numerous weddings each week but I only accept a limited number of weddings to photograph each year. Other photo sessions, such as sessions with families, are almost always available. You just name the time and place.
